Restore Male exists to give men clear, honest information about their health. This policy explains how we research, write, review and update our content.

Who writes our content

Articles are researched and written by the Restore Team. Our articles are not medically reviewed by a licensed clinician.

Sources and evidence

  • We prefer peer-reviewed studies (especially systematic reviews and randomized controlled trials), clinical practice guidelines, and reputable organizations such as the NIH, CDC, Mayo Clinic, NHS and relevant medical societies.
  • We link to sources so you can check them.
  • We distinguish strong evidence from preliminary, animal or small studies, and avoid overstating what research shows.
  • We do not promise cures, guaranteed results or “miracle” outcomes.

Use of AI tools

Articles may be AI-assisted and are human-edited: we may use AI tools to help with research, outlines or drafting, and a member of the Restore Team reviews, fact-checks and edits every article before publication.

Independence and affiliate links

Some articles contain affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). Advertisers and affiliate partners have no input into our content and cannot pay for favorable coverage. Sponsored content, if any, is clearly labeled.

Updates and corrections

We review articles periodically and when important new evidence appears, and we show the date of the last update. If we find or are told about an error, we correct it promptly and, for significant changes, note the correction on the page. You can report errors to the Restore Team through this website.

Not medical advice

Our content is educational and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. See our Medical Disclaimer.
